As part of an asset management and advisory appointment for a public company, Stonechester considered the options available to it in mitigating a long leasehold liability on a 330,000 sq.ft industrial building in Essex. As a result, terms were negotiated to purchase the freehold alongside a contemporaneous sale of the property to a large multinational computer services company. Substantial savings were achieved compared to the cost of forecasted leasehold liabilities.
